Fredericksburg Muslim Community (FMC) is a 501(c)(3), non-profit Islamic organization located at 215 Chatham Heights, Fredericksburg, VA 22405. It has been registered with the Virginia state corporation commission. It is governed by a board of directors. This is a new Masjid in Fredericksburg with the vision of the Fredericksburg Muslim Community is to be a beacon of spiritual enlightenment, compassion, and community empowerment. The Fredericksburg Muslim Community envisions a world where individuals are deeply connected to their faith, fostering unity, understanding, and positive contributions to society through an unwavering commitment to the teachings of Islam. Committee At FMC, our vision is to address the evolving needs of the community by establishing a more inclusive, ethnically diverse, and youth-centered Islamic center. We aim to focus on spiritual, educational, and recreational programs that serve not only the current generation but also future generations. Recognizing that children and youth are the cornerstones of our community, we prioritize their development by providing them with space, resources, and opportunities to actively contribute to shaping the future of FMC. This intentional focus ensures that they view FMC as their home. We Offer

At FMC We Provide Islamic Classes

This course will be delivered through classes in Tajweed, Recitation, Noorani Qaida, and Memorization. Additionally, we offer online Islamic Studies courses for both children and adults, alongside other regular programs. These courses aim to provide foundational knowledge of Islam and the teachings of Deen. In-Shaa-Allah, through these lessons, children will gain a solid understanding of the basics of their faith. We encourage parents to explore the courses and share their valuable feedback to help us enhance and improve our offerings. These courses are being launched in response to a critical need for comprehensive Islamic education. We firmly believe it is essential for Muslim children to have a deep understanding of their Deen and to grow into productive, well-rounded members of society. The introductory knowledge provided will enable students to learn about Islam, the Holy Quran, and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) and his companions. We are also offering Islamic course for our newly reverted Muslim brother and sisters. With collective efforts, we aspire to equip our students with the confidence to articulate their faith and, In-Shaa-Allah, become exemplary Muslim role models in their communities.
